NHPCG - New Hampshire Polymer Clay Guild

NHPCG - is an organization whose members range from beginners through professional artisans, but with one thing in common - a burning interest in the amazing medium of polymer clay.   Polymer clay is a wonderfully flexible medium, which is as versatile as the people who use it.   It is a man-made “clay” available in dozens of colors and is baked in a regular oven.

Our MISSION STATEMENT is to provide a forum where people interested in polymer clay can come together to share ideas, techniques, and resources.   To encourage each other’s expression of creative talents through the use of polymer clay, learning and growing as artisans.   We feel strongly that this must be a safe place to share.   Our work and techniques are freely shared, they are meant to be used as inspiration, interpreted individually, but NOT copied.

INVITATION
Come to one of our meetings!   See what we are all about.   The first meeting is free as a “sample”.   If you decide you’d like to join our guild, dues are $25.00 per year.   We are currently meeting once a month in the community room of the Hopkinton Town Library, Houston Drive (off Pine Street), Contoocook, NH.   Directions are available on our website at http://www.nhpcg.org.

WHAT WE DO AT MEETINGS
We usually meet from 6:30 to 8:30pm, on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, beginning with a short business meeting to bring us up to date on current or upcoming projects.   This is followed by either a demonstration of techniques, discussion, or work on a group project, and we end with “Show and Tell” - sharing new work, ideas, resources and national news.   Our Internet Yahoo group is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NHPCGuild.
