Description:
Choosing one of 4 color palettes, students "will learn strategies for designing and mixing color schemes, including how to choose a level of saturation within your comfort zone". You will create "skinny stripe blends" to make laminated pieces of traditional quilting and textile patterns to take home wearable samples and brooches. To view one student's results, check out http://www.photoplus.ws/polymerclay/menu/2007/029.php.

Materials List:
Depending on the palette you select, the colors will change but you
will need on 2 oz package of the red, blue, white and black, and 2
packages of the yellow (Premo is recommended), plus a good amount (1
lb.) of the ever present scrap. More details will be sent to those
enrolled.

Post Event:
The attendees had a wonderful time and really enjoyed this workshop. The weather was fine, and the views of the autumn colors from the library's windows was an extra bonus! Lindly was a very enjoyable teacher and the results that we all obtained left us amazed. Several attendees had chosen to work with essentially the same color palette, yet their work was all very unique and not at all similar.
